“I'm” is a contraction of “I am”.
The contraction of “do not” is “don't”.
Pronome mais o verbo be
I'm a student.”, “You're my teacher.”, “They're here.”
Subject pronoun contracted be complement.
I'm a student.
You're my teacher.
They're here.

Have got para falar de posse
Com have got, contraia have depois do sujeito: “I've got a book.” e “We've got two cars.” Em português, você pode dizer simplesmente “tenho”; em inglês, essa construção usa have got, e a contração é de have.
Subject pronoun contracted have got possession.
I've got a book.
We've got two cars.
Will para falar do futuro
Contraia will depois do sujeito e use o verbo principal na forma básica: “I'll help you.” e “We'll come tomorrow.”
Subject pronoun contracted will base verb time.
I'll help you.
We'll come tomorrow.
Would like para dizer o que gostaria
Use would like contraído antes da coisa desejada: “I'd like some water.” e “She'd like an apple.”
Subject pronoun contracted would like thing wanted.
I'd like some water.
She'd like an apple.
O que 's pode significar
Depois de he, she ou it, 's pode ser a contração de is ou de has. Em “She's a doctor.”, significa “She is”; em “She's got a car.”, significa “She has”.
She's a doctor.
She's got a car.
Contrações negativas
is not → isn't; are not → aren't; do not → don't; does not → doesn't; cannot → can't; will not → won't.
Você pode contrair o auxiliar com o sujeito: “She's not here.” Ou pode contrair o auxiliar com not: “She isn't here.” As duas frases têm o mesmo sentido. Com I am not, use “I'm not”, como em “I'm not a teacher.”
I'm not a teacher.
She's not here.
She isn't here.
Perguntas e respostas curtas
a: “Are you a student?” b: “Yes, I am.” a: “Is your brother a student?” b: “No, he isn't.”
- A
Are you a student?
- B
Yes, I am.
- A
Is your brother a student?
- B
No, he isn't.
Yes, I am.
Is your brother a student?
No, he isn't.
I'm a student.
