Em inglês, normalmente precisamos dizer o sujeito: com he, she e it, acrescentamos -s ao verbo, como em “She brings her son here.” Aqui, return significa voltar e give back significa devolver; come e bring, embora sejam irregulares em outros tempos, seguem a regra normal do presente.
