Attention : by introduit l’agent, tandis que by + une échéance signifie « d’ici ».

Ajoutez by + agent si son identité est utile, et omettez-le si elle est inconnue ou secondaire : « The opening time has been changed by the manager. Ici, by présente l’agent, tandis que by Friday signifie « d’ici vendredi ». Les formes complètes sont plus soignées; les contractions comme « The opening time’s been changed » sont courantes à l’oral.
