「It's a thing that cuts paper.」(紙を切るものです。)、「The woman who gave it to me works here.」(それをくれた女性はここで働いています。) 「Whose book is this?」(これは誰の本ですか?)また、is made で見た made に of を続けると、材料を言えます。「This table is made of wood.」(このテーブルは木でできています。)
It's a thing that cuts paper.
The woman who gave it to me works here.
Whose book is this?
This table is made of wood.
- A
Hello. The man whose shop is next door told me about you.
- B
How can I help you?
- A
I'd like something, but I don't know the word.
- B
What does it do?
- A
It's a small tool which opens bottles.
- B
Is it made of metal?
- A
Yes. My neighbor, who has one, keeps it in her kitchen.
- B
Ah, a bottle opener! This one, which was delivered today, is five dollars.
「Where's the key which opens this door?」(このドアを開ける鍵はどこですか。)「I need a bag which isn't too heavy.」(重すぎないかばんが必要です。) the man which はまちがいです。
「The bag which I bought yesterday is already broken.」(昨日買ったかばんは、もう壊れています。)「The book which you gave me is on the table.」(もらった本はテーブルの上にあります。) the bag which I bought it はまちがいです。
the key / the bag which is on the table / I bought yesterday
Where's the key which opens this door?
I need a bag which isn't too heavy.
The bag which I bought yesterday is already broken.
The book which you gave me is on the table.
whose は二つの考えをつなぎ、his、her、its、their の代わりをします。The woman is here と Her car broke down の二つの文は、一つにできます。「The woman whose car broke down is here.」(車が故障した女性はここにいます。) 「I know the student whose sister lives next door.」(お姉さんが隣に住んでいる学生を知ってる。)「He's the teacher whose sister works with me.」(妹さんが私と一緒に働いている先生です。)「That's the car whose door doesn't close.」(あれがドアの閉まらない車です。)broke down は break down(故障する)の過去形です。
また、who's は whose と同じ音ですが、who is のことです。
the man / the shop / the car whose door / window doesn't close / is broken
The woman whose car broke down is here.
I know the student whose sister lives next door.
He's the teacher whose sister works with me.
That's the car whose door doesn't close.
「It's a machine which makes coffee.」(コーヒーを作る機械です。)「It's a person whose job is to fix cars.」(車を直すのが仕事の人です。)「It's a car whose roof opens.」(屋根が開く車です。)
「It's a kind of coffee which has milk in it.」(牛乳の入ったコーヒーの一種です。) 「What's the word for a tool which opens bottles?」(瓶を開ける道具は何と言いますか。)
It's a machine which makes coffee / tool which opens bottles / person whose job is to fix cars / kind of coffee which has milk in it
It's a machine which makes coffee.
It's a person whose job is to fix cars.
It's a car whose roof opens.
It's a kind of coffee which has milk in it.
What's the word for a tool which opens bottles?
Ana called Mia のあとに She was at home と言うと、家にいたのがどちらなのかわかりません。「Ana called Mia, who was at home.」(アナは家にいたミアに電話しました。)
「My sister, who's a doctor, can help you.」(姉は医者なので、力になれます。)「The station, which opened last year, is already too small.」(あの駅は去年開業して、もう手狭になっています。)「My car, which I bought last month, has broken down again.」(車がまた故障したんだ。 「Leo, whose car broke down, is coming by bus.」(レオは車が故障したので、バスで来ます。)
Ana called Mia, who was at home.
Leo, whose car broke down, / my sister, who's a doctor, / the station, which opened last year, rest of the sentence
Ana called Mia, who was at home.
My sister, who's a doctor, can help you.
The station, which opened last year, is already too small.
My car, which I bought last month, has broken down again.
Leo, whose car broke down, is coming by bus.
「The students who finished early went home.」(早く終わった学生は帰りました。)と「The students, who finished early, went home.」(学生たちは全員早く終わって、帰りました。)
「The man sitting next to the door is my teacher.」(ドアの隣に座っている男の人は私の先生です。)は the man who is sitting のことで、「We bought a table made of wood.」(木でできたテーブルを買いました。)は a table which is made of wood のことです。「That's the city she lives in.」(そこが彼女の住んでいる街です。) かたい文章では the city in which she lives という形も見かけます。
The students who finished early went home.
The students, who finished early, went home.
The man sitting next to the door is my teacher.
We bought a table made of wood.
That's the city she lives in.
It's a person whose job is to make bread.
It's a machine which washes clothes.
That's the woman whose bag is on the chair.
My phone, which I bought last week, was very expensive.
Ana gave the book to Mia, who read it at home.
言葉がわからないときは、machine、tool、person、a kind of…
