自分の考えは「In my view」で、理由は「because」で言えます。
Although I support Sunday opening, I understand that the staff need a day off.
However, they could take another day off during the week.
In my view, the main street should be closed to cars on Saturdays.
On the one hand, most shops had more customers during last summer's trial.
On the other hand, people who cannot walk far found the shops harder to reach.
Nevertheless, the plan can work if the town adds a free bus.
「On the other hand」は一つだけでも使えます。
On the one hand, first side. On the other hand, second side.
On the one hand, an open-plan kitchen makes the whole home feel bigger. On the other hand, the smell of cooking gets everywhere.
On the one hand, working from home saves me two hours a day. On the other hand, I miss talking to my colleagues.
one fact, whereas the fact it compares with.
Most shops gained customers, whereas some older residents stayed at home.
Whereas the shops want the street closed every Saturday, residents would prefer one Saturday a month.
My sister loves our open-plan kitchen, whereas I would rather have a door to close.
However, the trial only lasted four weeks.
Nevertheless, the results are hard to ignore.
It is noisier when someone is cooking. Nevertheless, I would not go back to a closed kitchen.
So, should they close the main street on Saturdays?
On the one hand, the shops did really well during the trial. On the other hand, my grandmother couldn't get to the pharmacy at all.
So you're against it?
Not really. I'd still do it, but with a free bus.
Who's going to pay for that?
The town, I suppose. That's the next argument.
英語では主語が必要なので、「could work」ではなく「it could work」と書きます。
In my view, your position. On the one hand, what counts for it. On the other hand, what counts against it. Nevertheless, your conclusion.
In my view, the library should open on Sundays.
On the one hand, people who work all week could finally use it.
On the other hand, the staff would lose their day off.
Nevertheless, it could work if the staff took turns.
|---|---|
| Thesis | In my view, … |
| Evidence | On the one hand, … |
| Limit | On the other hand, … |
| Conclusion | Nevertheless, … |
| Two facts, one sentence | …, whereas … |
